Kurumba Villas

Amazing staff.. even gave us lunch when we arrived and dropped us off at train station. Good location and bonus to have a pool to relax in afternoon

The villas were very large with a big bathroom. Great size pool with pool towels included and lovely gardens. Staff were very nice with a simple check in. The breakfast was lovely. Short walk into Bentota for restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing oasis of serenity. We stayed 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Greeted warmly by Rekah and her friendly efficient staff, offered a cooling drink and presented with cold towels to cool off. Great start! From first sight it is apparent that great care and attention is paramount at Kurumba Villas: The ornate gardens are immaculate, the large pool clean and sparkling. Taken to our villa: Large bedroom, big comfy bed, fridge, A/C, ceiling fan, tv, safety box. separate sink with tea/coffee, huge modern shower room. Rekah has a great eye for detail it is clear: in the quality furnishings, paintings, layout of the gardens. It really is lovely and should be commended. Breakfast is served on the verandah of the main house, overlooking the garden and pool. So pretty. Soft music is played. European style breakfast and tea/coffee on fine china. It may be possible for Sri Lankan perhaps. We were invited to partake in a rice and curry lunch, which we accepted and was very tasty indeed. Birds, squirrels and the occasional mongoose frequent the gardens. We did have a couple of instances of squirrels scampering across the roof but really, not a problem. No bugs or insects inside but do wear mozzie spray at night (as in all Sri Lanka). Lovely stay, absolutely recommend.
