"Rainforest Retreat"

8.0

This hostel is amongst nature and was a tranquil experience away from the buzzing city life. A much needed place to rest and recover on our hectic travels through Karnataka. The Hosteller is a gem. The private room was clean and huge, with large bathroom, comfy bed and aircon. If you want to explore Coorg, you'll need to plan your own taxi or self drive vehicle, as it is a little bit of a distance from the main town are.

The minor drawback was the food took a little bit of time to come - that's because it is cooked fresh onsite. However overall the food was really tasty, so it was worth the wait.

"ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY, LOVELY STAY."

9.0

Very good environment. Proper forest view. Very pleasant terrace. Perfect hosting from SYED and team. Pet friendly ( they took initiative to spay the street puppy, gave vaccinations, feed it ). Pets are allowed only inside personal rooms. I wish we had spent more time on their terrace. ( We went out to visit so many places in day time, we could only spends nights there...

Small issues: Wi-Fi, road ( I actually liked road, because the road gives you JUNGLY vibes. But my sedan definitely didn't like the road. Wish I had an SUV, it would have been best combo),only veg food ( atleast egg items should be available, like omlette, egg fried rice etc.) I know, I have mentioned more bad and less good.
