"Just what we needed for our particular trip."

Stone Eater is a fine base for activities in the Huddersfield Marsden are of West Yorkshire, especially walks around the Pennines, natural history and the social life and engineering history of the 1750's to late 20th Century.

Be prepared for the possibility of wet weather, but Manchester and Leeds are within reach bt train.

Lovely location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Absolutely immaculate. Lots of little extras supplied. Good supply of leaflets about the local area.
