Domaine Gagnon

The location is very beautiful and quite. Lot of chairs by the water and a beautiful deck. A grrat trail in the property. The owners are very respectful and provides a great introduction to the area.

Beautiful grounds, spacious outdoors.

Accommodations smelled of strong chemicals. Burned eyes. I would have left if there was anywhere else I could have switched too. Outside rain drain leaked and made noise until I placed towels in the middle of the night. Noise was right by bed keeping me awake. There were beneficial, harmless insects dying on the balcony - fireflies, flower flies, dragonflies. There was obvious strong use of insecticide that concerned me greatly. I was worried the whole time that the smell in the room was insecticide. Bed was very uncomfortable. Check-in at normal time, and room was not ready.

The Domaine that Suzanne and Marc have lovingly created is really special - the grounds are exceptional and it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a billion plans to go here there and everywhere nearby but on our last day we just stayed and explored Domaine Gagnon - what a beautiful hidden gem of a retreat - thank you!
