Fantastic location, amazing views from the room, super friendly staff at dinner

Receptionist seemed bored and didn't explain well what dinner options we have. While there's a preselected dinner, the staff at dinner told me (too late) that choices would've been possible. Rooms and facilities are quite basic and have seen better days.

Good food, friendly staff, lovely NYE dinner/drinks. Basic breakfast but enough. Dinner was served quite slowly but was good each night. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Beds and pillows have seen better days. And the window in our room was broken. Left it shut but it was quite drafty.

Love staying up the mountain at the hostel. The location is magical, and so convenient being direct on the pistes.

We booked with friends to celebrate new years, but unfortunately very little effort was made to make the New Year’s Eve celebrations special. Particularly in comparison to previous new year’s celebrations up there. Appears that budget cuts have been made, as little things like good coffee at breakfast were no more.

Restaurant staff was great. Rooms were comfortable.

Reception staff was in a bad mood / really unfriendly.

Location was outstanding! We made first tracks, and it was the best day of skiing I've had in years. Dinner was really nice, although a bit slow, but we were there when the hotel was very full. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Our only sore spot was our interactions with the staff during check in. The woman behind the desk was not kind. Short answers, frowny face at all our questions, not welcoming at all.

Be aware, check-in is only between 15 and 16:30! Ridiculous... Take a little longer on the slopes and god knows where you'll sleep cus later "nobody knows anything". Only during check-in were we told about a parking discount. Would be useful to know this before-hand as well as "there's always parking place for hostel guests, despite the parking being full". We reserved the parking through the Laax app, which means, the "hostel parking discount" cannot be used. No gel or shampoo in the bedroom. Far from enough electrical plugs. My advice is to take a socket strip with you. Restaurant staff were rude, like doing you a favor every time you ask something. Not at the bar downstairs though, the girls were super nice all the time! No way to eat anything between 4pm and 6:30 when they “start” to serve the dinner, more like 7pm. We were obviously starving. Also no way to order any kind of food afterwards. Food at dinner was just eatable and portions were small. There's always bread to fill your belly, right?... Loud noise from corridor. All in all, last time here. There are better places to stay on the slopes.

Amazing architecture and interior design with an outstanding touch of upcycled curiosities, excellent setting for skiing, uncomplicated luggage transport included and cared for by the staff, nice breakfast buffet with excellent views, great coffee, real Swiss cheese, fruit and yoghurts, great 3 course dinner with free tap water and portions to feed even hungry skiers - and the greatest, most helpful and friendly staff you can imagine!
