Jacky's Guesthouse

I had an amazing stay at Jacky's guesthouse. The place has a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere, and serve delicious dishes. My room was super spacious and clean, with a great view over the rice terraces. Absolutely recommended. Jacky is really the most considerate and knowledgeable host, always making sure his guests are having the best experience. He patiently and thoroughly helped me plan the trekking in the area, which ended up being the highlight of my whole Yunnan trip. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un super séjour, merci à Jacky pour tous ses conseils pour les très belles randonnées aux alentours. La nourriture était très bonne et la vue depuis la guesthouse sur le village et les rizières était très belle.

Jacky and his family are exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond to make our trip with our family memorable and stress-free. Jacky gave us detailed daily hiking routes, helped us arrange transportation back to our train station, and when my son was sick, offered some over-the-counter remedies. He was solicitous and would check-in on us for longer hikes and on a few occasions offered us a ride back after long hike, knowing we had young children. His family is very warm, the food is delicious, the guest house is very charming with great views, and Jacky himself is a talented photographer with many colourful stories. My children's favorite is spending time with the guest house dog Doudou and were very sad to leave. We highly recommend this accommodation!

We had such a wonderful stay at Jacky’s guesthouse. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for visiting the incredible rice terraces by walk. The staff were always kind and helpful, and the restaurant served some of the best food we had in Yunnan. We’ll never forget Duoduo, the sweetest dog, who actually guided us through the rice terraces, and Simba the cat, who always kept us company in the living room. They made us feel right at home. Most of all, Jacky made our visit truly special. He arranged transportation, showed us markets and best hiking spots, shared his knowledge of the local culture, and welcomed us with such warmth. Our stay here was unforgettable and made our whole trip to Yunnan unique. We are deeply thankful for the hospitality and the beautiful memories. We look forward to coming back again!
