Property Notes

All guests must be members of the DJH (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk) or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased upon arrival at the reception. The membership costs EUR 7 per year for German citizens up to 26 years and EUR 27.50 for families or people from 27 years. From June onwards each year, you can purchase the DJH membership for half the price when you become a member for the first time. International guests must purchase a Hosteling International Card (EUR 18) if they are not a member of a national youth hostel association. For single nights, a welcome stamp can be purchased upon arrival for EUR 3.50. When booking for more than 6 guests, different policies and additional supplements may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich an der Rezeption in Empfang genommen. Es hat alles super geklappt! Mein Zimmer war groß, ich hatte viel Stauraum. Auch das Bad ist groß gewesen und hatte ein Fenster. Das Frühstück war auch sehr üppig mit viel leckeren Speisen. Ich konnte mein Gepäck noch dort verstauen, sodass ich nach dem Check-Out noch ein wenig in Heidelberg bleiben konnte. Super Lage, schnell beim Bus und in 15 bid 20 Minuten in der Altstadt und schnell am Hauptbahnhof. Gerne wieder :)

Leider war mein Zimmer direkt an der sehr großen Außenlüftung der Dunstabzugshaube der Küche. Gerne hätte ich das Fenster geöffnet, allerdings hätte es in meinem Zimmer nach Essen gerochen und sie war auch zu laut. Aber das war das einzige "Aber". An der Rezeption habe ich das am nächsten Tag geäußert und es wurde verständnisvoll reagiert. Sonst hat's mir super gefallen :)
