YHA Ravenstor

Position is good for Millers dale and Monsal trail. Plenty of car parking and nice garden.

Our room was up 2 flights of stairs in the attic. There were no toilets or showers on our floor, they were situated down a steep flight of stairs on the floor below and 2 were out of order. Large group of children dominated the only sitting room

We had a great stay at YHA Ravenstor. It's great value for money - very basic, but clean and the bed was comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped and great for doing your own cooking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is incredible, perfect for walks in the Peaks.

The WiFi doesn't reach the bedrooms, but that didn't bother me too much. It would be nice to have a sideboard/counter space in the bedroom and bathrooms, so that you don't have to put everything on the floor :)

Staff were great. It had a bar and lovley outside seating looking at amazing views. We shall return nearer to some amazing attractions. Building is beautiful.

Games room could do with refreshing

There were some lads in the next room chatting loudly and jumping off the beds till 23.30 when I banged on the wall...

Lovely peaceful location and a beautiful old building. Plenty of local walks. Friendly communal areas with board games. Bed was really comfy and it was really quiet just after 11. Great value for an overnight stay. As other comments WiFi only in the lounge area so you can’t get much out of your phone in room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Kitchen areas all clean.

Bathrooms a bit tired but for price can’t complain.

Such a beautiful location, so peaceful, and a lovely atmosphere in the hostel, lovely to have the lounge area available, all very comfortable.
