Bad smell in rooms

My third or fourth stay here, and it's still as lovely as ever. Fabulous location, less than ten minutes walk from the railway station and right beside the beautiful waterfront with lovely walks and stunning scenery. Saw two cruise ships from my window, it doesn't get better than that! Large supermarket just across the road for everything you might need. Bed extremely comfortable, all the usual facilities provided. Staff always friendly and helpful, and if not in the office just a phone call away and quick to respond. Shared kitchen is a bonus, useful to have access to a good sized fridge, especially in a heatwave.

Bathrooms are a bit basic, the shower controls can be temperamental, but not a deal breaker - I've already booked again!

We didn't even stay walked into the room and walked straight back out. We weren't expecting much being so cheap . We couldn't handle the smell and the state of the room .spoke to management about the smell .he said he had a blocked nose .he offered us another room but our noses couldn't take the risk . This building should be knocked down

It was like old students accomodation .main door not closing correctly.noisy.

Friendly helpful staff

The mattress was knackered, barely slept a wink. Shower had very little hot water.
