Gallt y Glyn Hostel

Lovely twin room with ensuite shower & toilet. Sink in bedroom. Warm room, plenty hot water, nice bedding, comfy beds. Window opens for fresh air. Such a peaceful night's sleep I slept through my alarm which I've never done in 50 years, haha. Staff welcoming and helpful. Recycling in the room and hallway. Small fridge available in hallway for guest use. Parking on site. Short walk into Llanberis centre (pavement).

Staff are helpful, kind and welcoming. The view of Snowdon is brilliant. We were in a family room and it was perfect for our boys. The pizzas in the restaurant are delicious. We had three nights, doing Snowdon, Zipworld and Betws y Coed. Wish we could stay longer - thanks Elin and Darren!

We liked everything! We'll definitely come back.

* There is a restauran for common area and somedays it is open from 5pm to 10pm. So you ate nkw allowed to eat your own food. But if you take your feuit, chacklote, french press nobady said nothing. * There ahould a dry room which is under construction. * Wifi should be better

The staff were very friendly and was able to fix the broken shower door (temporary) within a few hours of it being reported, the location is brilliant very easy walk to town and back, location near a bus stop to get to snowdon. The facilities include a kettle, fridge, lockers, hot drinks which was very handy if youre buying food from the village to keep fresh for your stay, the access to the building was very secure, I would stay here again its definitely worth the money (£100 for 3 nights 4 days)

I booked a women only dorm, im not sure if there was a glitch or something but when I arrived I ended up being put in the 4 bed dorm with 3 random men. (Thankfully they were all lovely and respectful) but I was very taken back considering I booked the women only one.. The shower door fell off and was temporarily fixed due to a missing part that wasnt in the bathroom and remained very loose not a full close meaning the floor got very wet, and the toliet flush stopped working as well.

the whole experience was gorgeous! all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we all agreed that we'd stay here again

there was a slight issue with the heating, but it wasn't a large problem and the team were very professional in dealing with it.
