Everything was great

They do need to fix some things, but in general very good room. It could be little more clean, need to improve.

Roof and common area

Stayed for two nights. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, and the location is perfect. But the highlight for me was the people I met. A few like-minded travelers who just made the whole experience amazing. And the terrace. The view and the energy there got me writing one of the best pieces I have written in a while. Only thing I’d suggest to the hostel owners is to have guests leave their shoes outside the dorm room. Not everyone thinks about it but it really helps keep the bathroom clean for everyone. (The bathroom gets cleaned everyday, the staff is responsive and welcoming) Bonus: Got a fair deal for river rafting. They even gave me a wake up call at 7 am to confirm the slot. Would come back for sure when I’m in Tapovan.

Good staff, clean room and shared kitchen

Location was a surprise. There are two properties under the same name and same owner. One has a good location and the other not so good. I booked under the impression of good location. Nowhere is the bad location mentioned and it's not in the best corner.
