Where to start, We had the most amazing stay at veeras. We booked for 1 night and stayed for 4, it was the most welcoming environment I've had in all of my india travels. A beautiful hostel hosted by the one and only Veera.

I cannot find a thing to dislike, I wish i was still there.

Veera is a lovely host, who speaks excellent English (and other languages, I gather!). He is very interested in his guests and builds a friendly rapport, offering advice about the town and answering questions. He keeps his place clean and it feels very safe to stay. There is a fun atmosphere, with the chance for socialising among guests, without getting carried away and spoiling anyone's sleep. A good balance! My room was clean, with a freshly made, comfortable bed. Happily, there were no mosquitoes. The hostel is a five minute walk from the lakeside, on the quiet side of town. Veera prepares food and drinks to order, and I enjoyed breakfast with coffee or tea. I had some laundry done, which was ready within 24 hours. The hostel has a friendly, playful cat, and no dogs (a plus for me!).

The only problem I had was with the hot water, which only came slowly from the tap and made bathing a bit annoying. This seemed only to impact one room and I expect it will be mended soon.

It isn’t luxury. But, I slept well here and found the washing space clean. The real charm is the owner, Veera. He is a sound guy and makes this a good place to stay in Pushkar

Staff are amazing and so hospitable. Veera was so positive and uplifting. He is also a great cook and does whatever he can to ensure comfort of guests. The location is good, yet still in a quiet area.

The bathroom can get a bit messy and hard to keep clean. Be prepared to be in a mixed dorm. Beds are simplistic.
