Habitat15@airlines is rather motel than hostel. There is no hostel vibe at all. Staff: Yan, hostel manager was very helpful. Location: Hostel is located very centrally, very close to the main road. Good and easy transportation system around. Room: There was a ceiling fan, locker, several beds and bathroom in my room. There was no shower, just bucket to fill with water and wash yourself. That’s fine. Common space: There is a ping-pong table, sofa and table with stools in the entrance hall/lobby. There was a tiny kitchen next to it. Good thing that there was an electric kettle. Plates and tables with chairs for food were in the second kitchen in the backside of the building. There was one spoon, knife and no fork or cups in the kitchen. But it was not an issue as there were a lot of restaurants/café opposite to hostel. There is a filtered water in the kitchen. I also found a real less or more internationally standard supermarket/grocery store in Church street near Hard Rock Cafe, 15-20 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. Rooftop terrace: There was a rooftop terrace, where I found free laundry machine, but I didn’t use it. Cleaning issues: I found a cockroach in my locker and in the bathroom. Garbage bin in my room and in the neighbor’s room was full. I assume cleaning is done sometimes, not every day. Wi-Fi: Free wi-fi worked very well in the lobby and in my room. But it didn’t work in the second outside kitchen. If I understood correctly, wi-fi has different passwords for lobby, kitchen and room. Sightseeing places: Cubbon park is 10 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. I walked to the Lalbagh botanical garden around 50 minutes from the hostel. Hostel looks the same as in booking.com pictures.

It would be much appreciated to have electric kettles, forks, spoons, knives, plates and bowls in both kitchens.
