People were friendly and it is near the train station

How water was not working. Took quite a lot to get the change 😅 almost one day, but nothing so important… I would recommend and probably come back, but please, clean bathrooms and fix hot water…

Staff were friendly and there is a nice upstairs common area which is nicely decorated with beanbag chairs. Theres a water filter upstairs which dispenses cold water. Beds have an individual light and fan (mine was not working) and curtains.

It feels like there isnt any work being done to maintain the hostel. The hostel room itself has quite hard mattresses which I personally found quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The curtain situation was mixed, I spent 10mins fixing the curtains along my bed to cover it properly. One side at the foot of the bed had no curtain which I had to cover using my towel. The bathroom situation is disgraceful, I saw someone cleaning in the morning though it didnt seem to do anything. There are 4 toilets to choose from each has its issue, the bidet faucet taps are missing. Some dont have buckets if there is no water jet. The toilet seat is missing in one and in the other the flush didnt work. Ultimately the whole bathroom smelt of urine. The shower situation was not much better with there being 2/3 usable showers. There was no shower head in one of these showers. Ultimately until the bathroom situation is re-worked and properly maintained I would not recommend this place for price or location (30min walk into the city centre).

Staff was very nice and also upgraded me for free to a very small private room. Location is good. WiFi is fast. Free drinkable water in the fridge.

Washing facilities are very, very basic and can become crowded. But considering it was the cheapest option in Shimla, that is okay for a night.

Nothing is likely.

Staff behaviour, internet speed and many more. I'm not recommend to any one to stay here.
