Friendly House Hostel Huế

Location was good, and within 20-30 min walk of things, felt a safe neighbourhood. Scooter available to rent at property. Breakfast included, which consisted of egg banh mi and coffee.

This was horrific in terms of noise for me.Can get noisy downstairs at times, partying till 12:30. Two very loud dogs next door that are easily rattled, barking until 1:30am plus two roosters which have no concept of time and began at 3:30am! Times are approx.. Room has to be aired daily as damp smell present due to not enough ventilation in bathroom and affected asthma.

Noisy

1) The owner is very friendly, nice and helpful. His English is very good. Didn't try to sell you anything. 2) They change beddings after every guest. Beds are really clean. 3) Beds have lamps and sockets. Safety lockers are there, but no padlocks for them. 4) Breakfast is nice, coffee is great. 5) Location is fine, close to local restaurants and cafes and not too far from the city centre.

1) They do SMOKE downstairs and the call it "no smoking at all"... well, if other guys don't forget to close the door and let you to open the window it's not a big problem. But I would prefer honesty, due to my health it was hard for me to move again. 2) Saturday night (I stayed 4 nights) they started a party at 11pm with a super LOUD music and it was VERY difficult to explain others wanna sleep and to convince them to stop it (finally at 00:10 after multiple requests and "just 5 mins" they accepted to turn off and to let other guests to sleep). I don't like to stay at the night club especially considering the fact that some people get up at 5, 6, 7 a.m. and they are noisy so being a traveller who is supposed to go out to see around I'm in deep lack of sleep (and pay money for that btw). 3) They don't clean the bathroom every day, only if you mention that it's dirty (and it definitely is after 6-7 men!) they do. 4) The beds are connected to each other so you feel every moment of your neighbors very well and it's difficult to sleep if they wake up early. My bed's lamp didn't work. The beds don't have curtains. The lockers don't have padlocks. The window is small and located over one of beds so if this person sleeps you can't open it or close it. 5) When I extended my stay, the owner didn't accept to substrate commission of the booking what looks not really nice. Was thinking to book these 2 nights just not to give him but let it go.

Lovely little hostel close to the shopping center, cinema, and walking street. Private room had a large fridge, wardrobe that locked, clean bathroom, toiletries and mini bar (water, beer, crisps). The host was so lovely, really friendly and a really good cook. He made breakfast each morning and it was always delicious. He made recommendations of things to do and where to go. He also invited us to a beautiful home cooked meal in the hostel which was so tasty. I would recommend this hostel to anyone. 10 out of 10 :)

The owner is kind, patient and helpful. The hot water in the hotel is hot enough, there is air conditioning, and it is clean and hygienic. There is also a delicious breakfast in the morning.
