Recently stayed here from 28 June to 30 June and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The waiting time for food orders from Whoopers was ridiculously long—over 2 hours at times! Make sure you’re prepared to wait before placing an order. The entire hostel seems to be managed by just one person, which clearly affects service quality and responsiveness. Worst of all, we found a scorpion in our room (Joey Room), which is a serious safety concern. The place definitely needs thorough pest control and better room inspections. Water supply in the washrooms was unavailable early in the morning, causing a lot of inconvenience. Lastly, the so-called “no smoking” common area near the sofa and pool table is a joke. People smoke inside anyway, and the smoke smell is unbearable, especially if you’re allergic. Overall, not a pleasant stay. Needs major improvements on hygiene, staffing, and management.
