USThe building itself was charming with a circular staircase and old glass non see through doors to guest rooms. 2 rooms looked out onto the front where there is a beautifully manicured public garden & remains of several Romanesque arches. You can hear local church bells ring.
I was originally given a room that was on the back side of the building. It looked onto a overgrown mass of weeds and 1 tree. It also contained junk. It was a dark and gloomy room. I asked to be switch, and the gentleman working there obliged. I was given an ‘extra room’ that had only 1 light (it hung from the ceiling), a bed that had only 1 mattress and no towels.The room did over look the afore mentioned garden. I was charged the same amount as my friends who were in a nicer room next to me.

CAFor the money for a private room in a “hostel” it was fine for a night. Staff was friendly enough. Location was great. That’s about it.
Felt unclean, terrible bed, didn’t feel secure. Room smelt like musty.
