A noisy, dirty room, narrow staircase leads to the 3rd floor! The owner confirmed my arrival time, but I still had to wait for him 1 hour to check in. The shower had a broken shower head, so you had to shower with a hose. There was no trash can and the owner expected me to sleep in a double bed with a stranger.

This was my first stay in a hostel. The host was friendly and attentive and I appreciated how he made sure the place felt very comfortable and safe and he gave useful information. Beds were comfy and we even got towels. Obviously the price was exceptional. Central location was so perfect for exploring easily. Also the bar/cafe (organica lounge) on the roof was extra cool and a fun place to hang out.

I think some people may be bothered by the noise from the road in the mornings but then again when travelling in Sri Lanka it is expected fairly often and I think it is worth it to have easy access to town. It suited me well, I enjoyed 3 nights there and I would recommend it for others.

The place was surprisingly good for its price. It was clean, comfortable beds. The host was very kind and attentive. The location was so convenient - bus stops within 5min, train station 10min and anything else you need also within 10-15min.

The building is not that appealing, but once you pass the stairs, the room is alright. A better ventilation of the room would be good.

I got a huge bed, loved it. Good place to stay in the middle of the city.
