Old Town Homestel

Location is perfect.

Not very clean. Bathrooms are tiny.

El hostel estaba dentro de la ciudad vieja, ubicación inmejorable cuando solo tienes dos dias para visitar Kotor, súper limpio y los staffs fueron muy amables e incluso nos dejó hacer el check in un rato antes sin cobrarnos.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, you’re right in the middle of the old town so everything is super accessible and it’s still only a 15 minute walk to the bus station. The beds in the dorms had curtains for privacy and personal lamps which were really great. The dorm room was small and a little cramped but if you’re only sleeping there then it’s not an issue. There were also a couple big windows in the room which helped keep it cool. There were 2 toilet/showers near my room and I never had to wait to use either of them. It seemed to be a pretty social hostel with lots of things going on. I am not sure if it was the hostel itself or a neighbouring building that had some rather loud karaoke going on in the evening. It would not have been possible to sleep with the volume, however, it did stop just after 11 and then it was quiet which was good.

The cleanliness in the bathrooms did let the hostel down slightly, they were just a bit grubby and needed a good clean. I didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that.

Too far. Too many stairs.
