"A cozy spot to enjoy winter in Hakuba"

We had an excellent stay at the Bohemian's Shelter thanks to Gas' warm welcome. We appreciated the included breakfast and the kitchen facilities (including beer on tap!), as well as the shuttle service to various ski resorts. The secluded location in the forest made for a relaxing, cozy stay.

It would be better if windows were equipped with curtains, as the sun rose quite early during our stay.

Warm friendly guesthouse. It’s not close to town but the free shuttles Gas offers are outstanding. He’s so organised and a truly wonderful host. Thanks Gas you’re a legend!

There’s a free shuttle to and from the bus terminal every day, making it easy to get to all the ski resorts in Hakuba.
