Hostel Blauwput Leuven

Dichtbij het station en oude centrum, vriendelijk personeel. Terrasje op de binnenplaats buiten was fijn tijdens snikhete dagen in Leuven. Geen (geluids)overlast.

Het was een beetje onhandig om uit het bovenste stapelbed te klimmen, dankzij een combinatie van smalle trap, kort op de muur, en de oplaadinstallatie die precies in de lijn van de trap zat. En dat het inbegrepen ontbijt simpel is is prima, maar de mieren die ik rond het eten zag lopen waren niet erg hygiënisch.

Dichtbij het station en toch erg stil. Het vriendelijk onthaal.

De plastic beddenhoezen, het stapelbed, het basic ontbijt. Maar voor die prijs is dat heel logisch en verwacht. Het is en blijft een jeugdherberg natuurlijk.

I had a pleasant experience at this hostel —facilities were fine and clean. The location was the best for me, as it's just about one minute walking from the train station, there are several supermarkets and fast food options, and it's at only some 20 minutes walking distance from the city center. The personnel has been very kind, welcoming, and lovely at all times. It also includes a basic, but varied buffet-style breakfas. Great value for money!

They could improve bedding experience — for example, upgrading to hostel meant bulks with curtains or more easily accessible structures (I have arthritis in one knee and it shows when I need to climb a basic bulk stair haha). It could also help if they assigned beds for the same reason. As a person with a somewhat limited mobility, I take my chances when staying at hostels that don't allow bed preferences, but it would make my stay so much better if I could be accommodated accordingly. Also, although the facilities were clean, floor 1 smelled like feet.

Lugar tranquilo, organizado e perto do centro da cidade. Atendimento maravilhoso. Café da manhã mto bem preparado. Amei tudo.

Nao há nada de que não tenha gostado. Mas faço uma observação, que se for possível colocar um espelho de corpo inteiro nos dormitórios femininos. Senti falta disso.

De bedden zijn prima, heb er heerlijk geslapen! De locatie is geweldig! Heel dichtbij het station en eetgelegenheden. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was goed. Ik houd heel erg van de contacten met elkaar aan de ontbijttafel. Een goede plaats om contacten op te doen en verhalen te delen als je wil.

Dd parkeerkosten zijn vrij hoog voor het parkeren in garage van station. Ik had misschien verder moeten zoeken of mezelf beter moeten laten informeren. Het is wat het is.
