"Lovely hosts and lovely place"

Thanks to our lovely host Lee, we stayed in the beautiful Casa Balam in a hummingbird filled garden beside the lake. Perfect small villa appartment for a couple, with cooking facilities. Early morning kayaks along the lake shore, clear water to swim in. We are definitely coming back.

Booking.com double booked us into Ruby hideaway! It was only Lee's kindness and flexibility in finding us another place that saved the day. Be warned! check your bookings with your hosts and dont trust Booking.com!!!!

"Great place to relax and enjoy the view."

The host met me at the bus and came with me to the property on the boat. It was late and dark, so this was very thoughtful. The view is incredible and you can spend all day on the balcony. Small, interesting towns are a short walk away, and you can rent a kayak basically next door.

It could be cleaner. Maybe the sheets need a bleaching and a good feather dusting of the corners would be an idea.
