You get what you pay for - everything is as seen in the picture. I haven’t used the kitchen though, so cannot say anything about it.

The location is far from city center, but bus 2 will be your best friend. Google maps shows to ride one stop and then go up the stairs – don’t listen. Bus 2 up to the last stop.

Lovely kitchen facilities - everything you could want to make a nice meal Room was spacious for 6. I really liked how 2 of the beds were upstairs as it did make it feel more private Cosy bed - I had a great nights sleep Instructions to get in the property were clear and sent in good time

I think I got lucky in that there were only 4 of us that night. I can’t imagine how busy the kitchen would feel if there were more guests as it was a little tight with 4 of us in there It’s a little out of town and yes, lots of steps. But fine for one night

The contactless check-in worked well and the host can be contacted via WhatsApp if you have any questions. The hostel is beautifully situated just above Rijeka (better take the bus when you first arrive, otherwise you'll have to walk up a lot of steps) with lots of nice cafés and bars just around the corner. The rooms, including the kitchen, were super clean - I've never experienced anything like it! I'd love to stay again!

The bed, bathroom and kitchen were all good. The dorm (and hostel) wasn't crowded, so it was quiet.

The location was a pain to reach, involving a very long flight of stairs. Getting in wasn't easy either as there was nobody there, so I had to use the hostel's wifi (which was conveniently supplied) to book a bed.

*) The location is about a 30-minute walk uphill from the coast with very limited public transport options *) The accommodation consists of just one floor after climbing the stairs - underneath is a bar where it might be loud *) Theres no reception at all, only surveillance cameras. The entire place has about four bedrooms and a shared kitchen. *) The owner and his father (along with their dog) manage the place, but communication is a major issue. *) The owner called often, distorts reality and can be outright insulting. Towards the mentioned points, I wouldnt recommend at all staying here.
