"Good hostel"

The bed was comfy and the room was a good temperature! It was perfectly clean and the cooking facilities were good

The lady at the check in counter seemed to see me, when I was checking in, as an inconvenience rather than a valued customer

"Mountain view Backapckers was a cosy place to stay while I visited Wanaka Wastebusters and very handy to everything."

Homely, well organised and friendly.

No option for food scraps - seemed like previous arrangements weren’t happening any more - compost, pigs, chooks etc.

This place felt like home-big well equipped kitchen like wow, you can find everything you would need, dinning room with sofas, tv, films, books, stuff to sew, paint, play, bossy cat, big garden. And all fellow travelers was nice, calm. Really nice place to stop and rest. Wanaka nice small city, calm and relaxing

I don't like those type of beds. But whag I saw is a standard in NZ
