Toilets and kitchen need remodelling

Guests were really cool! Such a great vibe over there. The mattress was really good and comfortable. We found our private ground floor room clean enough.

When we bought fruit and eggs to cook in the communal kitchen, we found really dusty stairs and the kitchen was really dirty. The fridge looked like nobody had touched the inside borders in years. Sorry guys, you can do it better.

Good mix of travellers.

Not very clean

I was here for nearly 1.5 months and it felt like home. I worked, exercised and made friends here. 1. Cleanliness - The place is extremely clean and the two wonderful ladies who work at the property are the reason for it. They do the laundry too. They are worth their weight in gold and I hope they are getting adequately compensated. 2. Leander mostly mans the reception and handled all my bookings seamlessly. I made all my requests for cleaning, changing linen, slow internet etc. to him. He was very prompt and cooperative. 3. The roof and the balcony space is amazing for exercising, working and just hanging out. Yoga mats, hammocks, a TT table etc. are available. 4. The female dorm accommodated 4 women and had a separate washroom. Hot water was available around the clock. The dorm room was well ventilated and airy.

I would suggest the management work on the following..with very little thought and effort this place can be a solid 10: 1. Wifi - The wifi was spotty pretty often. On some days I couldn't work there. The capacity needs to be improved. 2. Community - The Instagram page gave me the impression there are daily yoga classes on the property - there weren't any on most days. I heard that at one time the hostel held a lot of activities and created common spaces which encouraged the community to come together. Unfortunately this was not the case during my time there. 3. Common kitchen - The space is small. The equipment provided is pretty minimal as well. The kitchen fridge needs to be cleaned occasionally. It would be great if waste can be segregated at source. Label dustbins as per type of waste (plastic/ dry/ wet etc.). Most dustbins here don't have that.
