Le Mat Hostel

Absolutely amazing hostel! I was totally in love with the interior design, and the location in the old part of the town is just perfect. A special shoutout to the amazing receptionist, Gregory — he has a great sense of humor and was kind enough to let me drop off my bags an hour before the official check-in time. Everything is sparkling clean. The rooms feel very authentic, the bed is comfortable, and there are curtains for privacy. I also highly appreciated having separate female toilets and showers. They provide fresh towels and spacious lockers with keys for your personal belongings. The hostel has a great common area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a water cooler. Location-wise, it's unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to the promenade and the beach. It's also only a 15-minute walk to the bus stop near the Manzano restaurant. From there, you can catch intercity buses to Ayia Napa, Nicosia, and Limassol. Useful tip for travelers: local city buses cost €2 (cash), and intercity buses are €5 (cash to the driver).

I booked this hostel for my son. He needed to spend one night there. He liked it. He found a quite place where he could study online.

Breakfast

שהכל היה נקי, למרות שהוסטל בתוך מבנה מאוד ישן, הכל היה נקי. מיקום מצוין, 2 דקות מטיילת.

שירותים מאוד קטנים, בקושי אפשר להתיישב על אסלה, גם לבן אדם רזה. מאוד לא נוח. בניין ישן מאוד.

The location is good and close to the beach. Good internet. Relatively clean .

The place is infested with mosquitoes in large numbers . Noise until the morning from the clubs. The air conditioner only works for a few hours at night and is very weak.
