Beautiful stay. Super friendly hosts, good guests and just about everything was lovely. I found good company and headed off to a solid trek…made good contacts and lots of good memories from the place. Lots of travellers return here and I regularly bump into old friends when I stay. Quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably priced and the food is tasty and clean. There are no bad vibes here like you can get elsewhere and I return here often as it is so safe and well located. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I chose to stay at the Mochilero Ostello mainly because of the cool name, good reviews and decent prices - I ended up staying for my entire stay in Sikkim because Nimesh and his team are so welcoming, kind, and trustworthy. The place felt clean, safe and Quiet! Ask Nimesh for trekking reccomendations! I stayed in their dorm room, but their private rooms at MO 2.0 is nice as well.

Very tidy and modern excellent customer service and very professional and helpful. It is very high standard and everyone was very supportive during my stay. Definitely I will be back and I highly recommend especially for solo woman traveling as there is available female dormitory, I meet great people during my short stay. Thank you for everything.

Good social environment. I met backpackers from all over India there. Distant from food options, but Deepesh can prepare a meal. Chicken thali is 350.

Only two lockers in the four bed dorm “worked“. Those that worked could be opened easily with a screwdriver. Things could be cleaner.

- So I stayed at the Mochilero Ostello Nomads, which is the extension of Mochilero Ostello. It's better to say it's a homestay, not a hostel. - The rooms were clean and spacious, with an incredible view of Kanchenjunga - Both the hosts (Gake Didi & Lakpa Bhaiya) and their families were the best hosts I have met so far. They were very kind and generous and served the best home-cooked meals. - The place is quiet, lies in the lap of nature and is perfect for long stays. - clean and spacious dorms with all the amenities like lockers. ample charging points and a big window for ample sunlight - If you are going to Mochilero Ostello and want a homestay vibe, I suggest staying at Mochilero Ostello Nomads
