Terrace, the hosts were friendly and helpful

Cold room, not comfortable bed, quite dirty spaces, only one towel and no soaps

Rooftop is nice

The room has no toilet (advertised as a room with bathroom). I found alternative accommodation and didn’t get a refund neither from property or booking.com. Receptionist was very unwelcoming, seemed like he hates his job. Place was dirty.

The location of "The Tangier Kasbah Hostel" is central in the old city of Tangier near the Port, Marina and many museums such as Kasbah Museum, the Ibn Battuta Temple & Exhibition space of this Moroccan Traveller. The owner was friendly and welcoming, from the top of the hostel you can have a wonderful view of the old & new city. When the weather is clear, one can see the Spanish Coast.

Check-in at 14:00 is too late, I suggest it should be at 11:00 like check-out.

Nice view and can cook by your own

We enjoyed our stay. Really comfortable room and the hostel is nicely decorated. Location is great and the helpful hostel instructions made it easy to find. Martin was friendly and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant.

The shared bathrooms could get a bit wet and sometimes didn't have soap or toilet paper.

I stayed in a private room, I loved the Himalayan salt lamp + little touches. The shared bathroom is decent. It was perfect for what was needed for our 2 night stay.

The location is great, barely ten minutes walk from the main road, however the place itself is hard to find as it is in a semi isolated neighborhood area + when we were close, a local claimed that he worked for the hostel + tried to take us in a completely different direction saying he’d take us to the accommodation. Just have your wits about you + don’t follow any locals if they claim to work for the hostel.

Very helpful staff! Guided us to the hostel, sorted out sim cards for us, gave advice for our bus the next day and also a really good dinner recommendation. Comfortable private room, and we liked the location of the hostel.

Very central and easy to find. The terrace really invites to meet other hostel visitors and Youness really is the heart of it all. He's very frie dly and forthcoming, funny and most of all helpful. He will recommend good places to visit, takes his time to get to know you and simply a kindhearted soul. Martin who also works there might seem a little serious but it very reliable and helpful. The two seem like the embodiment of Ying and Yang.

The mattresses were quite hard. I don't mind them to be hard but a little more comfort would work wonders.
