free water dispenser was useful

the main member of staff was the rudest host we have ever experienced in all our time travelling. we were greeted after a long day of travel with a grunt, and it looked like it pained him to check us in for our stay. he was similarly rude in all other encounters, all we wanted was a friendly face and a hello. for this place to improve, the staff have to get friendlier, as it was incredibly off-putting. the rooms are as basic as they come, much better out there in uluwatu for a lower price.

Great location - close to dreamland beach. Rented a very good bike from here!

good location, nice pool area and very quiet.

Internet didnt work half the time. one of those login ones you get at airports so required you to re-sign in every hour or so and sometimes didnt connect at all. tricky for me as someone who is working remotely. owner was very rude. made you feel really unwelcome. considering all the other places i stayed in bali were so friendly and welcoming this was a bit surprising. expect one word answers and he doesnt look up from his phone while you speak to him. also very unhelpful. asked him for an iron- he said no. i then asked anywhere nearby that might have one, he just strugged, still not looking up. The women was much friendlier though. bedding smelt a bit. was clean but had that smell you get when its left in the washing machine for too long after washing.

Spacious room with nice balcony. Just as expected, and good value for the price! Not too difficult to get to the beaches and beach clubs in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Bedding smelt very stale, like it hadn't been washed. Was a little far to walk to places but Gojek works really well, so we mainly used that!
