It should be very clean

Fully smoke smell and drinkers are allowing inside

Major problem with a dog attack on premises with Hostel dog. No care or Medic visit offered. Despite the Night manager witnessing it all. Extremely traumatic and upsetting, then having to take Rabies shots for 1 month again without any medical or financial assistance in continuing my stay! Deploring and needs fixing.

Let me give you brutal honest review: The restrooms were clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The room itself was neat and the AC worked well, which made our stay comfortable. The hostel is located near Varkala Cliff just like it was shown in the photos, which was very convenient. During the stay, we also got the chance to meet and make friends with people from different countries, which was a nice experience. There is a small shop inside the hostel where you can buy tea, coffee, juice, Maggi, and other quick items. The prices are a bit expensive, but that is understandable since most shops around the cliff are overpriced due to the high rental costs vendors have to pay. If needed, you can easily go outside and find tea or coffee at much cheaper prices.

Also I booked this hostel for the terrace view to see the sunset but unfortunately only people who take yoga class is allowed. They should remove the pictures so it won't mislead people when they book. The hostel suggested travel agents for mangrove forest kayaking and provided their contact numbers also they can give some information about the cost so guests could bargain directly with them. However, it would have been helpful if they had mentioned that prices could be cheaper if we compared with other travel companies as well. I also had a small misunderstanding with a foreign guest during my stay seems like they slightly support the foreign guest coz of so and so reasons. Another issue was when the staff gave a bike rental contact number, When I asked for the name of the rental person and the bike price before calling, the staff seemed irritated and responded as if it was unusual to ask for those details. Lastly, the drinking water had a bad taste, which made it uncomfortable to drink.
