3 Bedroom Log Cabin in Snowdonia nr MTB trails

We requested to extend our stay as our work had been extended. We requested this with a direct message to the property and they confirmed backs saying "yes, we confirm this"... we arrived at the property after a long days work to find the code had been changed for the keys and that we couldn't get in. We rang the hosts and were told the booking wasn't extended and its booking.com's fault... we were then told that if we wanted to stay, we would have to pay another cleaning bill.. The attitude of the hosts was absolutely appalling and taking no responsibility for there actual lack of communication. I don't understand why they carried out a clean without contacting us or asking if this was still extended. The woman who i spoke with had a real attitude problem and needs to learn customer service. Would not recommend at all for this whole reason.

Very big cabin and great location

The place was not properly cleaned, loads of dust everywhere, windows frame redicolous dirty, as we have been charge a whopping £120 fee cleaning fee alone, it should be much much better, must get a new cleaning person to avoid this kind of comment, the shower wasn't working when we arrived but someone came the first thing in the morning to sort it out, water pressure is very low, a water pump would do the job.

Location was great and the lodge was in a really good spot with parking right outside. The property had everything that was needed for a stay. Particularly appreciated the tea & coffee supplies when we initially arrived.

The lodge was tidy but could really do with a deep clean. The windows were dirty on the inside wooden part. The shower needed a really good clean around the taps. It smelled a little musty but an air freshener would’ve sorted that.

The location of the property is lovely and private, it’s very quiet around this lodge and the porch is very big and spacious. The decor is lovely and cozy and they had plenty of dvd movies for the tv! Also enjoyed the full kitchen :)

Although the property was amazing overall i think that we paid a high cleaning fee, for the bare minimum amount of cleaning, my sister had allergic reaction to all the dust on the walls and there was crumbs down the sides of the couch and also a tooth flosser down the side of the couch. Didn’t feel very clean so we had to do some of our own cleaning even though we paid for somebody else to do it.

The location was spot on. The lodge was exactly what we were looking for. Really comfortable

Nothing it was all good. Everything was as was. Good value for money.

Unfortunately I think that the bathroom could have been cleaner and the kitchen utensils could have been a better quality.

Nothing about the accommodation, as the property had put us in the wrong cabin as they had double booked but didn't tell us that when we made the booking. So they just wanted our money - tried to charge me an additional £120 cleaning fee to move me to a cabin with just the correct amount of double beds I had booked.

The cabin itself, very run down looking. It wasn't clean, there was mold in the bathroom and it didn't have the correct amount of beds that I had booked. Our cabin didn't look even remotely like the photos of the one we booked. The staff were rude and unhelpful, basically telling us that if we didn't like the cabin, we could leave - with no where to stay that evening. Told that a self catered cabin wouldn't come with the basics such as baking trays. Was told there was no bedding for the sofa bed we were forced to use. The property took two damage deposits from my account.. There was someone else's food waste left at the cabin. They turned the water off on our final day, so we couldn't shower before leaving for a 5 hour drive home or use the toilet. When going through the 'complaints procedure', the property staff do not care about what issues you experience, they'll give you a disgustingly small refund which doesn't cover the amount for the accommodation and won't take into account any other issues you have. As they do not care. And they'll only actually pay you when you complain to booking.com directly, and even then it won't be the amount you had agreed with them. Overall this place is a scam, I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. There are far better places in Wales to stay.
