Albergue O Peirao

Very nice staff and the location was excellent, right next to the port and many restaurants and cafes. Most of the bunks are in one big room on the second floor and had privacy curtains and lockers right in front of them with their own lock and key which was helpful. The first floor had the bathrooms, kitchen, social areas, etc. Overall it was a good spot and I would stay there again.

The check in process was very chaotic. About 8-10 of us arrived at the check-in time (normal, for people walking the Camino), and it took about 45 minutes to get everything sorted, with who had which bunk where, where couples would go, who had pre-reserved a bottom bunk, etc. This was even though we all scanned a QR code and checked in online when we arrived so in theory it should have been simpler. Not a big deal but when you're hot and tired and just want to put your bag down and shower and relax it was frustrating.
