Very dirty, the room was really cold, the bed were making loud noises as soon as you move a little bit, there’s no reception. If you call they can come but they’re never any staff there.

Sorry, but I won’t be booking this place again. The room we stayed in had not been vacuumed and it smelt like sweat and ass and didn't smell very nice. And the kitchen was very unhygienic and not clean at all. The strong smell of ramen noodles lingered throughout the common areas, including the bathroom. The washing machine is broken and leaking water. The bathroom was also unhygienic — there was no hand soap and nothing to wash hands with and there were other people’s dirty bodily hairs left in the sink and all over the toilet. Overall, the facilities were extremely unhygienic, and there were no cleaners on site. It is very unprofessional for a hostel to operate without proper cleaning standards. I do not recommend wasting your money booking this place. The hostel staff need to do better and take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene standards.

The location is fantastic.

The toilet and bathroom is dirty and the blanket, pillow case, bedsheet and the comforter is not quite wash cos there’s a smell. The nearby rooms they’re very noisy I awake up few time in my sleep. The property smells the food people cooking.

Just the location, but everything else is terrible.

The room that was given me was a makeshift room — an office room converted into a bedroom. It’s within a two-bedroom space, but the property manager only gave a key for the main door and not for my bedroom. I requested for the key of my bedroom because I felt insecure but the property manager told me that the key was lost. At that time, the other room was also occupied, and the person occupying that room could just enter my room anytime. The bathroom was dirty! The main room leading to my bedroom was disorderly. Kitchen was messy. Also, when I got to the hotel, the property manager told me that since there was a problem between the two ladies who are staying in the same room, he gave the room that I booked to one of the ladies, and asked me if i could stay in a different property, and he offered to drive me to that property. He was insistent with his request but I told him to give me the room that I booked. Since I was worried about my security and concerned about the cleanliness, I transferred to another hotel the night of my check in date. I hope appropriate Auckland authorities or regulatory bodies inspect these kinds of establishments. Although there were mixed reviews about the hotel, it seemed that only the bad ones are true having seen it myself. Admittedly, I only got to read the reviews after because it was an emergency booking, as such I didn’t have the time to read the reviews. And this happens when one is in a hurry. I hope Booking.com delist these kinds of hotels from their platform.
