Hostel White Town

The older gentleman who got us organized was really nice and gave us great recommendations. We had the room with bunk beds (we were 2) and it was quite comfortable. Everything that was necessary was in the house and kitchen. Even though close to town and easy walk to everywhere or the bus it was very quiet.

We didnt go in high summer so it wasnt too hot and there was a fan however the AC in the room was there but didnt work. It did work downstairs in the common area.

The photos in Photoshop were probably processed. Because it is very dirty, cracks in the walls, stains, corners are broken. There is no heating. Special thanks for the political situation. It's uncomfortable.

The room itself was OK, very dated. The guy was very nice when he did arrive to check me in.

I arrived at the time we agreed and no one was there to let me in. I was stood on the street for a good 10 mins before another guest let me in, then I had to wait about 20 mins for the owner to arrive. The room had an awkward wooden pillar right in the middle. There was a huge gap under the door so you could hear any noise coming from the common area downstairs. There was no curtain or blind on the window.

The host was very nice. I came with a delay, and the host was waiting for me. Overall, great value for the price.
