Adorable hostel en plein centre dans une rue calme ! Le couple qui le tient est arrangeant et très sympa. Les chambres sont confortables et fonctionnelles.

A pleasant and cozy place. The hosts are very welcoming. It’s not obvious from the photos, but there’s a wonderful room for working on a computer. There’s also space for 1–2 motorcycles overnight inside the house, if you kindly ask the hostess.

The owner/manager was one of the loveliest I’ve ever met in a hostel/hotel. She made us feel very welcome, gave many helpful tips, and in general the atmosphere was nice. Everything was clean! The only downside was that is was rather loud in our room due to the fact that one wall was facing the street and the other the common area inside. But the location itself is perfect, close to both the town‘s plaza as well as to the mirador. Plus the bus „terminal“ is right around the corner :)

The property is located just around the corner from the main square so it’s easy to get to restaurants etc. It’s also not far to walk to the viewpoint ‘Mirador colina illuminada’ which has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee is provided at pretty much all times of day in the reception. The family that run the hostel were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to organise a tour into Barbas Bremen nature reserve to see howler monkeys with a local guide at very short notice. Leandro in particular was a great host and we went out for a mountain bike tour with him of the surrounding countryside which was loads of fun. There is a nice little chill out space with hammocks in the middle of the hostel that came in handy. We would definitely stay here again.

Like most places in Colombia the building isn’t particularly well sound isolated so there is a bit of road noise and you can hear people in nearby buildings. However Filandia is a quiet little town so from about 10pm-7am we didn’t notice any noise.

The location was great, just a couple of streets away from the heart of town.

The shower was terrible, but that is okay given the price point. It was also very noisy, but we had been warned of this so we were aware. Slept okay irrespective.

the hostel is great! Family run, the host is really kind. They rent bikes, ask for the booklet with activities. Beds have a plug and curtains. It has a common area but it's quiet.

Bring earplugs for traffic noise

Some parts were under construction but I am sure when this is finished, the facilities will be amazing.
