It was absolutely perfect! The staff thebother guests, the cleanliness. Perfect. I didn’t realise it was a 30 min walk to the village and that there was no food option nearby but the kitchen was very clean and well stocked so I just had to stop being lazy.

It says that the room has beach view. It doesn’t. None of them have. It is still prime location and I would go back in a heartbeat

Cool setup, nice huts with fans, showers and toilets clean, nice shaded chill out area on the beach

It is a bit of a walk to the town along the beach so be prepared for that When we were there the waves were to rough to swim so very hot

Pora is pretty much heaven on earth! The third day when we came back after a good surf the kids shouted: we are home! That's how feels, what a place. We had two tipi's, one for the kids and one for us. The breakfast was amazing, the communal kitchen the best on the island (we tried a couple ;)) and the sunset cocktails the best (again, we tried a couple ;)).Steffi and Alex feel like family just like the great volunteers. I have this gut feeling this stay will be a key memory for our family, what a gift!

Nothing! Because even for the mosquitoes on Chacahua, Pora has a great home made cream by Steffi available.

The tipis are designed and executed with a lot of love, overall you can tell that the team really puts a lot of energy and heart into Pora!

I thinkt the only thing (although this was very transparently communicated by Pora) is the distance to town combined with the fact they dont have a restaurant in the evenings. Like this you either need to buy ingredients to cook or to coordinate to go into town and then walk back in the dark for 30 minutes. Another suggestion would be to buy another mosquito net to put over the bed in addition to the nets covering the windows of the tipis, as there are a lot of mosquitos.

El lugar esta hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza, la habitación tiene todo lo necesario, el sitio es muy tranquilo, se puede descansar muy bien, el cielo que se puede apreciar en la noche es simplemente espectacular.

el ambiente es muy calido, pudimos festejar un cumpleaños muy lindo debido a las atenciones del personal, el ambiente en la palapa es muy agradable.

quiza reforzar los tipos de desayunos solo un poco.

I would have liked to have options for lunch and dinner/ or to have a shopping service with delivery to the hotel.

Its location a bit further from town was really peaceful and you get a really nice bit of the beach if you need some quite reflective time this is the perfect place. It also had a nice communal vibe but also easy to have time alone also. They helped me book bioluminescence tour that was one of the most amazing things I’ve seen in my life The staff and volunteers were very friendly welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

One minor point was would be great if the rooms had mosquitoes nets
