The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night and didn't use the kitchen to cook in so not sure about cooking facilities, but there was UHT milk, orange juice and water in the fridge on arrival and tea bags etc available.

I would recommend the wifi is upgraded, we found that it doesn't work anywhere in the accommodation except in the hallway if you stand right next to the router which is far from ideal. These days wifi is a necessity, particularly in remote areas like where this accommodation is situated, where there's poor/no mobile service either so having wifi becomes more important.

The location was stunning, loved the approach on the road with views across to Ben Nevis road. Near to Fort William, Glencoe. Nice restaurants nearby, The Old Station and Whispering Pines were lovely. There was enough space for two couples comfortably. Very, very clean.

Lack of an oven for cooking, bit of an odd kitchen layout but not a problem at all. Very little to grumble about. Really good

Friendly welcome from Jeannette, the property host, who got us settled in, showed us where laundry room was (and was able to provide laundry soap and tokens for very modest cost as I recall), and gave advice about nearby dining, the best nearby walks in the hills above the property, and where to park in Fort William to reach sights and shopping. The chalet had a full-size fridge, small cooktop and toaster, kettle, etc., so we ended up buying salad fixings at the Marks & Spencer and Aldi food shops a few miles away and eating in both nights -- super convenient and saved a bit on the budget.
