Good location and good facilities

Unfortunately this place is let down by one individual. I was warned about the Greek girl working there by other travelers when I arrived, the reality was far worse. Unprofessional, inexperienced and obnoxious ..the list could go on. Wanted to stay at the hostel longer but she became unbearable. Gossiping around the place as if she was still 12 years old and demanding space in the kitchen as if she was a paying customer. In a industry where customer service is valued so highly, I’m amazed they still have her working there. In a year and a half of travel, I’ve not left a bad review but I felt this needed commenting on. Loved the other members of staff who were all nice and hospitable.

It could be a bit cleaner. Especially the bathrooms felt a bit outdated.

Beautiful place, perfect location - but what makes this place feel like at home is the amazing crew that works there. The nicest people that are there for you 24h/day. I was planning to stay 3 days and I ended up staying for 2 weeks because I loved it so much. Tropicalia forever 🌸

Super cosy hostel with very friendly people. I walked past it one day and it looked so nice and colourful from the outside that I decided to check it out. Never regretted it. Make sure to catch up with Abel, the smiley Argentinian volunteer, he will make your stay unforgettable :).

In the city center, and very noisy. The room was dark, very humid and the bathroom was smelly. Not really good value for the money we pay. I will not come back. Staff is helpful and very nice
