De Chicktoria Hostel

Beautiful location, lovely rooms and really welcoming staff

Staying at De Chicktoria was the closest I felt to truly experiencing Indonesian culture. Heri, the host, went above and beyond to ensure every guest's comfort and privacy. Indeed, he thoughtfully provided separate rooms whenever possible. Whenever I wanted to dive into the social side of hostel life, the common area was the perfect spot. I spent countless hours engaging in fascinating conversations with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and travelers. Their insights and stories enriched my stay and deepened my appreciation for the local culture. Can't wait to go back.

A beautiful hostel with great staff, I can only recommend!

More like a beautiful homestay than a simple hostel. The house is amazing and full of details, a lot of passionate craftmanship involved in the building. Beautiful family and excellent food. Therima kasih 🌻

Amazing place with the most friendly staff, who would do anything for you. Great to have the option to order food onsite too!

It's a lovely place in the ricefields. We used it as a one night stop on the way to Penida but I would have loved to stay at least 4 days. The staff is adorable and the cook is far what you would expect. His curry's are incredibly good, the juices just the way you want them. Breakfast was nice and they brought us to the ferry.

Just a minor point. You can hear you neighbours breath. And when they talk all night it is a little difficult to get to sleep.

The staff was great! We loved the place, the nets were great to hang out in. The food was one of the best we've had while travelling.

The location is quite remote but we really enjoyed that. There are a lot os mosques around so be sure to use earplugs.
