The property was lovely, fantastic location, and the host was so incredibly helpful with things to do and even had our dirty clothes washed without having to ask! The best host of any pousada I have visited. Thank you so much Otto!

I loved this hotel! The location was perfect and the room had everything I needed. There was also an adorable cat walking around that was very friendly :) And, the staff were SO kind and despite the language barrier, did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. They also let me check in early!

We absolutely loved our stay with Otto and his family. Otto was very welcoming and generous with us and made us feel comfortable and cared for during our stay. He is easily one of the most genuine and caring hosts we have met. He took the time to really help us with our plans and we really enjoyed communicating with him in a mix of Portuguese and English. The location of the accommodation is perfect for exploring Paraty. It is close to the historic centre and in a nice neighbourhood that has everything you need to eat and relax well. The accommodation itself is beautiful and really well cared for. We loved our stay so much we extended it twice and had the pleasure of staying in three different rooms over two weeks. All the rooms we stayed in were really comfortable and each had beautiful features. We would really recommend staying here and would love to come back and visit Otto and his family sometime.

This place is like a beautiful little haven within Paraty. I loved walking into the gorgeous courtyard after a big day. The location is absolutely amazing, walking distance from everything, but far enough away from the night time noise. Otto was a fantastic host, very welcoming and warm. Plus the filtered water in the kitchen was amazing and saves you having to use a bunch of plastic.

Had an amazingly pretty room with a hammock and mezzanine in it and otto was really lovely and helpful and location was good.

Comfortable, spacious, clean and very close to Paraty's historic center as well as the central bus station (Rodoviaria), thus offering excellent value for money. Moreover this guest house is hosted by very kind and genuine family. Without doubt would I enjoy staying here again!

This is an excellent little Pousada. Great value for money. The people running the place are extremely nice and welcoming. The room is comfortable and we had everything we could ask for (iron, coffeemaker etc.). It is also situated ideally between the bus station and the historical centre. It’s a bargain in Paraty.
