Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De dagtrips naar de eilanden om te snorkelen zijn fantastisch.

De omgeving is ruw, grimmig, stinkend en vuil. Weinig ruimte in de dorm. Zéér miniem ontbijt. Creamer voor de koffie, brood werd niet aangevuld.

Wifi not strong in far dorm, mostly have to use wifi in common areas

In the town of Semporna, I truly felt at home. It had a magical charm — beautiful little streets, plenty of restaurants, and a harbor with an unforgettable atmosphere. All of this was perfectly complemented by the Island Backpackers accommodation. It was really clean, comfortable, and everything felt just right for a reasonable price. The only thing I’d point out were the slightly soft mattresses, but that really comes down to personal preference.

Nice Place to stay overnight before to get the boat to the Islands, clean and with nice staff. Nice breakfast!

Okay for one night. AC in the room worked perfectly. They also offer a small breakfast and self-service washing and drying machine for free. We could leave our backpacks until departure.

Cleanliness in the bathrooms could improve. They ask you to remove shoes and slippers but then the bathroom's floor is always wet. Water stopped running twice. They could put some instructions on how to use the washing and drying machines

The location was convenient, the place was kept clean, and the staff was friendly.

Only one working shower, and the rest of them either had no hot water, or no water at all. The bed was full of springs or wires that you could feel through the relatively thin mattress pad, and the walls are so thin that even conversations at normal speaking volumes could clearly be heard, which was disturbing since a group of girls next door to me were cackling for hours late at night. The breakfast options offered weren’t really things I was interested in, which was also a bit disappointing.
