Great location and the staff was super friendly. Also the hostel arranges multiple activities each day. Overall the experience was great!

I stayed for two nights at this amazing hostel — and what a surprise! It’s very close to the town center and Sigiriya Rock (you can walk there). Shops and restaurants are also nearby. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They even have a WhatsApp group where they post all the activities they organize each day — super practical if you haven’t really planned your stay, and a great way to meet other travelers. We formed a great group and shared some unforgettable moments together: sunrise and sunset hikes, an elephant safari, a cooking class (the best ever!)… I truly fell in love with the vibe and the people here. I absolutely recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are super friendly and help with everything. The breakfast is very good and there is a lot of food. It is a very social hostel, so it is easy to meet people. The tours are great and not expensive. There is a group chat for the hostel. Everything is well organised there, and it is very easy to join activities.

The only problems were the dorm and the WiFi. In my dorm, when it is windy, the walls and roof make a lot of noise, so it was hard to sleep sometimes. Also, there was no WiFi available during my stay.

A very sociable place, where you can get in touch easily. The staff is always kind and supportive, especially Thushara who is organizing a lot of tours and activities.

Great social hostel with friendly and very helpful staff who arrange daily tours of the local area and beyond, sometimes for free! The hostel grounds and rooms are a nice place to hang out. Conveniently located close to attractions and restaurants/shops. It even has a view of Sigiriya rock! Enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

The hostel was a bit quiet at first (just 4 of us), but we ended up doing a sunset tour together which was really nice. The staff helped us book a sunrise hike to Pidurangala and an elephant safari—super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, with daily cleaning. Breakfast was good. More travelers came the next day and we all joined a lake swim tour. You don’t really need to plan much, just follow what the hostel staff offers. Makes everything easy!

I love this hostel! I extended my stay cause I did not want to leave. The hostel offers lots of trips, which makes it easy to meet others and experience a lot. I can recommend all of the activities such as swimming in the lake, Elephant Safari or watching sunset together.

This hostel is perfect for solo travelers. It is a good place to meet other travelers. Malith and all of the staff are super nice. Also, I love that they organize activities and some are free like sunset tour to a secret viewpoint where you have an amazing view of Pidurangula and Lion Rock, lake tour etc. And you should book their jeep safari where you get to observe elephants and other animals like peacock in nature. Their safari driver is really good as he goes to spots where there aren't many jeeps.
