Excellent value for money, the Marina Ben Gurion is literally a stone's throw from Tel Aviv's amazing beaches - location wise it can't be beaten. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (and speak excellent English!) and nothing is too much trouble for them. The facililties are farily basic, and a bit ramshackle, but considering they supply bedding and towels I can forgive the odd loose tap! There is a small kitchen and a washing machine and dryer should you need them. I stayed in a communal room which was well maintained with a shared toilet and shower. The cleanliness kind of depends on your room-mates - mine were a slightly mixed bag in this regard! The large communal area is colourful and relaxed and a great place to chill out in the evenings.

It's a good hostel, and the best thing would be the location, it is almost on the beach

The staff were very welcoming and flexible. They worked hard to provide the best experience possible.

As with any hostel with dormitory accommodations, your experience will depend greatly on the consideration and cooperation of the other guests. The staff moved me out of the original bed assignment because some guests had not meet the hostel's expectations about keeping the space hospitable for everyone
