THE ORCHARD (HOSTEL WITH PRIVATE BUNKS)

This was probably the nicest hostel that I have stayed in. I had a bottom bunk, which is a small room with a door.

Affordable place to sleep on our way through Canada. The person at the desk was very nice and got us checked in with good instructions about the space.

The front desk guy when I checked in was great and very helpful, as well as the guy in the morning who answered a few questions about roads and tickets wonderfully. There was a coffee maker and grounds so I was very happy. Also the place is beautiful inside and the view from the back patio is gorgeous.

1. I called prior to my arrival asking if I could get a rate that matched what was currently listed online because I was debating being able to even travel and I have very little money. The guy ended up saying yes and "I'll change your rate right now" and I was relieved because every little bit helps. Well, it turns out that it never actually changed, so I was all excited and happy for no reason and now feel betrayed. I know it was above and beyond and I shouldn't have expected it but he told me he did so that was just a bummer. 2. I woke up drenched in sweat every 45-60 minutes, even with the fan on and blankets off. I didn't get much sleep because it was so hot and it's just never nice to sleep in a puddle of sweat all night

Staffs were not helpful checkin time was delayed. Accidentally book a second room was told I wouldn’t be charge for cancellation fee but he was dishonest n i was charged

Bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a pretty cool set-up, and I enjoyed my time here.
