NOMAD Hostal - Barichara

The breakfast was amazing. Choice between yoghurt, fruit, toast and coffee or tea. Alternatively an omelette instead of the yoghurt. Additionally you can order extras from the menu which is not needed at all, but a fresh fruit juice is always welcome.

We enjoyed the secluded location which gives the place a very calm feeling, but on the other side it is very far away from everything. Staff really friendly and food homemade and superb quality!

Security at night as staff leaves. Have to take taxi/tuk tuk every day to get to places. Bus did not work for us as it did not come when we tried to take it. The rooms are kind of open roof so not much privacy because you can hear everything.

Me encanto el lugar, todo está diseñado para que tengas un espacio tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza, un lugar realmente acogedor y el personal lo mejor, la atención de Florent, Maru, Nixon y todos te hacen sentir en casa, además que la comida está exquisita! Con ganas de volver

The rest, the facilities, the friendly staff

Well, you should know it is not in the centre of Barichara, but that is not the purpose of the place.

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts! My tip to every traveller is to plan more time than you think for Barichara. Nomad is not directly in the town, but super easy accessible by tuktuk or bus. It is worth it!! The hostel is amazing! Great nature, dorms, shower, toilet, relaxing areas, views.... Also the restaurant serves one of the best food you find and everything is affordable :) In addition, the hosts are very kind. They help you with everything, making sure you feel at home and they can also help you with activities (hikes, workshops, things to do in Barichara, parapente, river rafting, ...). Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Atmosphère du lieu, très reposante. Beaucoup d’oiseaux tout autour. Nombreux hamacs pour se poser sur les terrasses. Cuisine commune propice aux échanges. Très bons repas préparés par le chef Nixon !

La personne n’a pas voulu laver mon linge sous prétexte qu’il n’y en avait pas assez !
