A nice hostel with a great atmosphere. It’s located slightly outside the city center, which keeps it quiet, but it’s still very convenient with just a 10-minute walk to the main areas. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful yet accessible stay!

The host was really helpful for helping us plan our trip and ran a good laundry service which was a nice bonus

Great location in Castro, 10 mins walk from main bus station to all the local villages and islands. Roberto the host was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped.

This property feels more like a home stay than a hostel / hotel. It’s a big old house and the heating / plumbing js dated. The showers weren’t really hot and there’s no heating in the room. Our first night was cold BUT if you ask for a heater there should be a plug in one available which we greatly appreciated. Everything in the property is quite dated, but it has its own charm.

Super nice staff and very helpful. When we first arrived we were given a tour and a suggested itinerary for our time on Chiloe. The room was comfortable and spacious for us. The kitchen was well equipped and a good space for cooking and dining. Close to town and overall really positive experience here.

We loved this hostel so much we stayed for 3 nights rather than the 1 we had originally planned. It’s super comfy and cosy with log burning stoves . The kitchen is really well-kitted out and comfortable to be in. The whole place is really clean and the water is very hot. Walkable from the centre of town and the bus station. We spent a couple of days camping in Chiloe National Park and were able to leave the rest of our gear at the hostel safely. On our return we were invited to a bbq with the hostel owner and his friends and family - it was the nicest evening we’ve had in Chile and we only retreated to bed at 11pm as we were knackered from our walking earlier in the day. Couldn’t recommend this hostel highly enough!

Nothing, it was fantastic

Nice comfortable hostel, home away from home. Perfect location just down the road from town. Owner was very helpful and friendly, had heaps of tips of things to do and see. Most comfy bed we have had so far. Showers were clean and hot with good pressure. Kitchen was stocked! Have laundry facilities avaliable Highly recommend!
