Punsuk

While the outside area looked nothing like the pictures (clearly taken many years ago), I honestly really enjoyed sitting outside at the stone table and hammock while recovering from a cold in the sun all day. If you're after just the basics from a hostel, this is a very affordable option. The washing machine was a fun adventure. Thankfully, some older guests grew up with one just like it - so we figured it out together! Good air conditioning and fan in the room, and I liked that the female dorm was very separate from the main area. I didn't explore much of Khon Kaen as I was sick, but it was a great place to live the slow life - convenience store and morning market very close by, and nice streets to wander around.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but typical of what you'd find at this price point. Again, hostel has just the basics, couldn't figure out the hot water, but it's warm enough in Khon Kaen to enjoy a cold shower.

My second time staying here. Pi Pom and Punsuk are warm and caring as always!

The hostess was very nice. She was willing to do what she could, for her guests.

There were bugs in the bed, bed bugs and ants. I got bit during the nights, so bad.

Lovely host and great place! Will definitely go again!
