Pool House Hostel

This hostel is one of the cleanest I've stayed at. The staff is super friendly, the beds are comfy, the kitchen well equipped.

I booked the place having in mind they have a pool, but unfortunately the pool is under maintenance.

Friendly staff. Quiet and chill atmosphere. Clean and fully-equipped kitchen. Lovely pet. Large and comfortable bed. Very fast wifi. Central location

Traffic can be loud in morning

The property itself is great! Good vibes and great pupusa making class. The people are cool and the location is perfect. The only thing is that if you’re in the dorm close to the road then you will be awake all night from the chicken busses/trucks going past and blasting their horns or breaking. The fumes are also pretty bad

Location is convenient to centre of town

Noisy, ill-equipped, uncomfortable and not very clean. Also they say there is parking and that is completely untrue. We booked a private room here because reviews said it was quiet, clean and had free parking on premises. Actually all of those turned out to be false. The location of the hostel has moved, the location is right by a chicken bus stand and right on the street so it s very noisy from 5am. There is only 1 bathroom for private rooms to share, which seems to also be used by the dorms although they are not supposed to. We had to wait up to 30 mins to use the bathroom and then the shower was clogged with dirty water and then there was no toilet paper. No clear signs, someone walked into our room while we were in there. There is no parking. No hot water in shower is probably to be expected, however the showerhead is also useless as it points to the wall. Basic cleanliness is not observed. I would not stay here again.
