It is simply terrific. Everything is newly renovated and well done too. Very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast and i would guess you can have a fine dinner here as well

Great family owned and run operation. Kind and full of information. Easy going, well stocked room, clean and well thought out. Craig is a talented chef and dinner was great. Will come back someday.

Great surprise for us to have found this place last minute to stay during the New Year. After camping-kayaking for 3 days, we needed a place for a good night of sleep. The room did not disappointed, very comfy and we slept like babies. Craig and his wife are lovely and doing amazing work to keep the place running and take care of their guests. We did a side day trip to Lake Hauroko which was great and easy to access from the lodge. Highly recommended and we would like to come back another time :)
