Barn1920s Hostel

Great little hostel! Clean dorms, large locker provided. Air conditioning, good showers. Breakfast items are provided and you make it yourself. There are eggs, salad, cereal, bananas. All staff are very helpful and can answer all your questions kindly. There is a small boutique café at the front, a chill out zone upstairs, laundry service, bike rental, assistance with booking tuk tuks, onward travel etc etc. A wonderful place, I really enjoyed my stay.

2 von 3 duschen funktionierten leider nicht. Insgesamt war es einigermassen sauber, doch roch es bei den Lavabos stark nach Abflussrohren. Das ist nicht sehr angenehm

Staff muito cordial e simpático, dispostos a ajudar. A área do café é muito linda, decoração retrô e as bebidas e comida servidas são boas. Localização muito boa, próxima a tudo.

A cortina da minha cama sai dos trilhos toda hora. Os banheiros não são sujos, mas acredito que poderiam limpar com mais frequência e arrumar o suporte dos chuveiros. Os armários para deixar nossos pertences não são nada resistentes, mesmo com o cadeado eles ficam entreabertos - uma pessoa má intencionado poderia facilmente fazer força e arrebentar a porta que é de madeira.

The hostel is clean, but the sleeping cubicles are poorly ventilated. With the curtains closed, there’s almost no airflow and the air-conditioning doesn’t reach inside. Floor fans are provided, but they only help the lower bunks—on the top bunks it’s difficult to breathe. I had to keep my curtains open the entire time just to get a bit of cool air, yet it still felt stuffy and suffocating. Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well and often felt short of breath.

Stayed only for a night and moved hotels due to poor air ventilation
